Stagehands

$20/hr

Position Summary: Stage hands will assist the Production Manager with concert/event execution including loading in tour gear, building sets, changing sets, strike and load out. Stage hands will also be

responsible for setting the house and assisting other departments during an event as needed and when time allows.

Minimum Requirements

  • Can lift 30-40lbs
  • Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of a stage
  • Thrives, and maintains a professional demeanor, in a fast paced environment
  • Experience working concerts and events Preferred Qualifications
  • 1-2 years experience as a stagehand or similar position
  • Background and working knowledge with backline and A/V

Backstage Coordinator

$18 – $22/hr

Position Summary: A vehicle (or access to a vehicle) is mandatory for this position, mostly for your own sanity. The ideal applicant will have a strong background and passion for hospitality.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Able to purchase, manage and display all necessary items for artist or client needs & requests;
• Ensure the cleanliness and presentability of all backstage areas. Responsible for end of show breakdown & reset;
• Assist Production Manager in ensuring ease of access through the venue for all artists/performers/clients;
• Assist in developing any decor adjustments;
• Maintain inventory & ownership of all backstage items and equipment;
• Additional responsibilities as needed or assigned by the General Manager, Operations Manager, or Director of Operations.

Job Requirements

• Prior experience in live event production
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to make clear concise decisions; sometimes with limited information
• Must possess superior interpersonal communication and organizational skills
• Must be able to conduct oneself with extreme patience while working in a stressful environment • Tolerance of all cultures, music and art forms
• High School Diploma
• Must have a valid CA Driver’s License

Physical demands/Working environment:

• Must be able to lift 75lbs
• Work in an environment with moderate to loud noise level

Operations –

Door Staff

$19-$20/hr

Position Summary: Door staff are responsible for presenting the first impression of the venue by maintaining a friendly and personable demeanor while greeting patrons, checking IDs and scanning tickets.

Minimum Requirements

  • Customer service oriented
  • RBS Certified (training can be provided)
  • Maintains a personable and professional attitude in a fast paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working concerts/events in a similar or related role
  • Customer service experience
  • Knowledge of/ability to troubleshoot ticket scanners

Microsoft Outlook – Memo Style

Security

$21-$22/hr

Position Summary: Security staff are one of the backbones of the venue and will be responsible for the overall safety and security of the venue, patrons, artists and staff. Security staff will also be expected to help front of house crews create and maintain a friendly and welcoming environment for all those at the venue.

Minimum Requirements

  • Holds a valid Guard Card
  • RBS Certified (training can be provided)
  • 1-2 Experience working concert/event security
  • Can stand for long periods of time
  • Conduct themselves with a professional attitude in fast-paced, high pressure environments
